Illustrator is a graphic editor design program created by Adobe. What Illustrator does is let the user be creative using shapes, colors, and logos to create something new and original.
How to use the laser tool
Step 1: Open up the illustrator file with the computer that is connected to the laser
Step 2: Click on File, Print, VLS6.60
Step 3: Click on setup and then click Preferences
Step 4: Grab a piece of acrylic
Step 5: measure piece of acrylic with caliper tool
Step 6: Change direction of printing to the bottom up
Step 7: Click ok
Step 8: Open the UCP software for the laser
Step 9: Turn on laser
Step 10: Put piece of acrylic in the laser and place it in a corner
Step 11: Use the focus tool to move the laser to line it up with one of the corners of acrylic
Step 12: Click on the relocation tool and click on the matching corner of where the laser was placed
Step 13: Click back to the focus tool and check all of the corners
Step 14: Click on the green play button

How to apply a vinyl decal
Step 1: Take out outlines of

Step 2: Cut out piece of tape and stick it to vinyl decal
Step 3: Use squidgy to press down onto vinyl
Step 4 slowly transition vinyl decal to tape
Step 3: Use squidgy to press down onto vinyl
Step 4 slowly transition vinyl decal to tape
Step 5: Put tape with vinyl on bottom of the notebook
Step 6: Use squidgy again to press down onto notebook
Step 7: Slowly peel off tape so the vinyl decal sticks to notebook
Step 6: Use squidgy again to press down onto notebook
Step 7: Slowly peel off tape so the vinyl decal sticks to notebook
Step 8: Once the tape is fully peeled off the vinyl decal is finished
What I have learned
I have learned how to navigate through illustrator so that I can be original and use my creativity to the fullest. Also, I have learned how to use the laser tool for my next projects, and I learned how to cut out a vinyl decal to put on an object. I am now very confident with my abilities for my next assessments.
